Strong+Bendy

Every new client has been like making a new friend.

Hackney Wick is still London's best kept secret. A cool vibe, without being pretentious.

I always knew it was going to be great fun setting up a business in Hackney Wick, but it's surpassed my expectations.

This place signifies togetherness.

Hackney Wick is such a great place due to one thing, diversity. It demonstrates how different communities can co-exist in unison. Be it the boat dwellers, the local artist, city professionals, hipsters, working class or the elderly living in the bungalows of Trowbridge.

Hackney Wick has been an amazing place for our business, largely due to the support from the local community.

Creative folk and residents live and work together to provide the kind of vibe that seems to have disappeared from most of the city.

Edgy but friendly at the same time, Hackney Wick in general and Fish Island is particular is a tremendous place to live and work. The 21st century buzz combines uniquely with an industrial heritage that has now been sadly lost in most of London. Originally from Scotland, I have lived in the city for 10 years and worked as a milliner in a number of areas. But there is no doubt that Hackney Wick has provided me with the most artistic and "edgy" atmosphere. I find it inspiring to feel that I am carrying on a long tradition of artisan work in such an historic neighbourhood.
